Firewind - Discografia
Pra quem não sabe, o Firewind é a banda do Kostas Karamitroudis (???), ou Gus G.como é mais conhecido (rs), ele é o atual guitarrista do Ozzy Osbourne, entrou para substituir o lendário Zakk Wylde. Essa banda fodástica de Power/Heavy Metal foi formada na Grécia em 1998, Gus G. (na época ele tinha 18 anos) gravou uma demo com alguns amigos para mostrar suas habilidades na guitarra e tentar conseguir um contrato com alguma gravadora, e conseguiu com a Leviathan Records. O proprietário da gravadora, David T. Chastain trouxe o vocalista Stephen Fredrick e o bateristaBrian Harris (ambos ex-Kenziner), Gus chamou o baixista Konstantine e esta foi a formação do primeiro disco, Between Heaven and Hell, lançado em 2002. Em 2003,Stian Lindas Kristoffersen entrou na bateria e Petros Christodoylidis no baixo, lançaram Burning Earth, essa formação fez turnê no Japão com Rob Rock, sem o vocalista Fredrick. Em 2005 o vocalista Chitral Somapala entra para ficar em tempo integral, Bob Katsionis que tinha tocado teclado nas turnês também é contratado definitivamente. Eles fazem um acordo com a gravadora Century Media. Alguns meses depois lançaram Forged By Fire. Depois disso Chitral saiu por diferenças pessoais e musicais com o resto da banda, foi substituído por Apollo Papathanasio que continua até hoje, foi anunciado também a saída do baterista Kristoffersen que foi substituído porMark Cross. Essa nova formação lançou Allegiance em 2006, fizeram turnês, mais um disco em 2008 chamado The Premonition e um ao vivo, gravado na Grécia: Live Premonition. O último disco saiu no final de Outubro de 2010, Days of Defiance, tá foda mesmo!
